Jeff Haley
Radio Advertising Bureau

Jeff Haley, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB), has a wide background in marketing and sales across multiple media platforms, including digital media.   Under his leadership, Jeff has steered the RAB into a business-driven organization with defined objectives to share knowledge, facilitate consensus, and drive revenue for the Radio industry.

As Senior Vice President for Time Warner Global Marketing, from 2001 until he joined the RAB in September of 2006, Jeff was responsible for creating marketing programs for some of the largest advertisers in the U.S.  During that time, he leveraged $7.5 billion of media investment from key advertisers across Time Warner’s divisions including Time Inc., America Online, Turner, Time Warner Cable, Warner Brothers Entertainment, HBO, and New Line Cinema.

In 1999, Jeff co-founded the Internet Appliance Network (IAN), a venture launched by Chase Capital Partners.  At IAN, he built the business infrastructure, co-led financing efforts, and struck key partnerships.

Jeff spent the preceding 10 years in advertising sales and marketing primarily at Time Inc. and Children’s Television Workshop (CTW).  At CTW from 1996 through 1999, he was Group Vice President and led cross-media programs and developed new channels for Sesame Street programming through joint ventures with Nickelodeon and the launch of SesameStreet.com.

He was initially recruited to Time Inc. in 1989 as a member of the launch team for Entertainment Weekly, perhaps the most successful new magazine launch of the last 20 years.  He served as Sales Development Manager and Midwest Marketing Manager, both corporate roles designed to package the company’s products in multi-title buys to its largest clients.

Jeff is on the Board of Directors for the Ad Council and a member of the Arbitron Radio Advisory Council.  He also serves as Co-Chair of the Radio Creative Fund (RCF), the governing body of the Radio-Mercury Awards.

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of the Holy Cross and attended Boston University’s School of Management. He and his wife Marcy, a former television producer, live in Southport, Connecticut, with their four sons.

The Radio Advertising Bureau is the sales and marketing arm of the Radio industry with nearly 7,000 members including 6,000 stations in the U.S., and over 1,000 associate members in networks, representative firms, sales and international organizations.
