Greg Pinelo is a partner in GMMB's Los Angeles office. He is an award-winning strategist with 16 years experience in advertising and strategic communications for a diverse group of corporate, nonprofit, national association and political clients.

Greg provides strategic counsel for many of GMMB's major clients, including First 5 California Children and Families Commission, the California Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs, the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the Save Darfur Coalition, the Motion Picture Association of America and the Charles and Helen Schwab Foundation.

Greg is a highly regarded political strategist. He played a key role in developing advertising for Jim Webb's upset victory in the 2006 Virginia Senate race and has consulted for many of GMMB's political clients, including Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords (Az.), Governor Mark Warner (Va.), and the Democratic Senatorial and Congressional Campaign Committees. He also counsels many leading progressive organizations, including Alliance for Justice, Defenders of Wildlife, NARAL Pro-Choice America and Americans United for Change.

Greg's work was instrumental in the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's Covering Kids & Families campaign, for which GMMB received the prestigious David Ogilvy Award recognizing outstanding research-driven creative. He also coordinated the development of advertising for the foundation's Cover the Uninsured Week.

Greg is a leading expert in communications on behalf of unions and has developed major campaigns for the Communications Workers of America and
the United Steelworkers of America. A native of Kentucky, Greg received a B.A. from Oberlin College, where he majored in both history and political science and lettered in varsity basketball.
