Hinton’s hands-on point of view on mass retailing in America gives her valuable insights into what moves today’s retail customer to action.  In her keynote address, she will share those perspectives and divulge what she and her clients are looking for from their media partners.

“Not unlike media, the retail landscape can shift in a heartbeat,” Hinton observed.  “Retail marketers and their agencies are looking beyond static spot schedules to engage an increasingly demanding consumer.”

“We are delighted to have Kaki address our attendees,” stated Jeff Haley, President and Chief Executive Officer, Radio Advertising Bureau.  “In addition to her experience representing some of America’s biggest advertisers, she has been a longtime supporter of the advancement of Radio, and we are grateful for her participation.”

Prior to joining MPG in October 2007, Hinton spent 20 years with Pfizer Consumer Healthcare, previously Warner-Lambert.  Among her responsibilities,  she directed and supervised all media planning, all cross-platform integrated initiatives including branded entertainment, all consolidated media buying operations, all commercial production, the advertising agency review process, and more.

Hinton has served numerous industry organizations including serving as the Chair/Co-Chair of the Association of National Advertisers TV Committee and the Family Friendly Programming Forum; she is an Ad Council Board member; and was an original member of the Radio Ad Lab’s Research Committee.  She was named one of Advertising Age Magazine’s Media Mavens in 1999.  In 2006, Hinton was one of three recipients to receive the Lee Salk Goodworks Award from Theatreworks/USA, and in 2007 was the recipient of the Ann Vanderbilt Award for Achievement presented by Partnership with Children.

The Radio Advertising Bureau serves more than 6,000 member Radio stations in the U.S. and over 1,000 member networks, representative firms, broadcast vendors, and international organizations. RAB leads and participates in educational, research, sales, and advocacy programs that promote and advance Radio as a primary advertising medium.
