Lisa Cochrane from Allstate to Deliver Final Keynote at RAB2008
New York, New York – January 31, 2008 -- Lisa Cochrane, Vice President, Integrated Communications for Allstate, will deliver the Wednesday morning keynote during RAB008 on February 13 at the Hyatt Regency, Atlanta. Cochrane’s keynote is another indicator of the bold, new direction of RAB2008, which features more marketers and advertisers than ever before.
RAB2008 takes place February 11 to 13 and will deliver three days of intense training on how to position Radio’s analog and digital assets across the increasing number of delivery systems and help managers and salespeople generate revenue for their Radio stations.
In her address, What Makes Radio Work for Allstate: An Insurance Marketer’s Perspective on Radio Advertising, Cochrane will discuss the dynamics of the insurance industry and the role that Radio advertising plays in Allstate’s media strategy. The largest publicly traded personal lines insurer in the U.S., Allstate invests nearly half a billion dollars in total advertising annually.
“Radio is essential for Allstate’s consumer communications,” Cochrane observed. “Radio gives us a local footprint and helps us connect with our customers in an environment that is personal to them. That is significant for Allstate because our business is such a personal part of people’s lives.”
“Lisa’s insights on advertising and Radio’s value in Allstate’s media plans bring a vital perspective to our RAB2008 attendees,” noted Jeff Haley, President and Chief Executive Officer, RAB. “We are fortunate to have her join us.”
“Allstate is an amazing business partner to the Radio industry,” stated Sheila Kirby, President, Strategic Sales Development, Interep, and Chair of the RAB2008 Planning Committee. “Allstate’s commitment to their customers, agents, and consumers in general is exemplified in the way that they market their offerings. An example of Allstate’s and Radio’s partnership can be seen when a crisis happens such as the fires in Southern California or the floods in the Northwest. Allstate was on the air in a matter of hours, giving vital information and assuring the public that they were ‘in good hands with Allstate.'”
