FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

RAB Restructures Its Marketing to Establish New Business Unit Exclusively Dedicated to Increasing Radio’s Share of Ad Dollars

Leah Kamon Hired As New Senior VP, Marketing & Communications

New York, New York – March 28, 2008 -- The Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB) has announced a structural change of its marketing division into two separate groups: a Business Development unit dedicated to RAB’s key advertiser focus and a Marketing/Communications department led by Leah Kamon who joins the RAB as Senior Vice President, Marketing & Communications.

Jeff Haley, President and Chief Executive Officer, RAB, who will lead the Business Development effort stated, “The formation of a single entity devoted exclusively to business development sends a clear message to the Radio industry and the advertising community that the RAB is committed to bringing incremental revenue to Radio.”

In her new position, Kamon, who reports to Haley, will establish a cohesive marketing and communications effort across all of RAB’s departments and divisions.  She will be heavily involved with the Radio 2020 initiative, a collaborative undertaking from the RAB, the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), and the HD Radio Alliance.

“Leah has a great talent for bringing together all the diverse elements of marketing and communications,” noted Haley.  “Over the ten years I have known her she has always identified the strongest commonality across creative principles and maximized them to achieve defined goals.  She will unify our assets and energize our mission to deliver a positive message about Radio.”

“I am excited about joining the Radio industry and the RAB,” said Kamon, “and to working again with Jeff.  Radio is a terrific medium and the clear leader in audio entertainment and information.  I look forward to working with everyone at the RAB and to helping advance our medium.”

Kamon joins the RAB from Time Warner where she directed internal communications and was a founding member of the Time Warner Global Marketing Group.

As part of this restructuring, Mary Bennett, Executive Vice President, National Marketing, is leaving the RAB to pursue other interests.  A stalwart member of RAB for 12 years, Bennett was instrumental in the development of the Radio Ad Lab and numerous industry projects.

The Radio Advertising Bureau serves more than 6,000 member Radio stations in the U.S. and over 1,000 member networks, representative firms, broadcast vendors, and international organizations. RAB leads and participates in educational, research, sales, and advocacy programs that promote and advance Radio as a primary advertising medium.
