New York, NY – November 21, 2103 -- In celebration of the life and work of Ron Ruth a memorial fund has been set up in his name to benefit the Broadcasters Foundation of America whose mission is to help improve the quality of life of men and women in the radio and television broadcast profession who find themselves in acute need.  Donations may be sent directly to the Broadcasters Foundation at 125 West 55th Street, 3rd Floor, New York, NY 10019 and please make note that the donation is for the Ron Ruth Memorial Fund.

Tentative plans by the RAB are underway to hold a celebration of life with Ron's many friends sometime in the first quarter of next year and will be made public as soon as they are finalized.

“Ron was an ardent supporter of the Broadcasters Foundation,” said Erica Farber, President and CEO, RAB.  “We at the RAB couldn’t think of a more fitting way to honor and commemorate his life and work.”
