The 7th Annual “Rising Through the Ranks” Course Dedicated to the Support and Advancement of Women in Radio Sales Management is Open for Submissions
This year’s course will focus primarily on women in the radio workplace and sales and management techniques; including problem solving, budget reviews, managing team personalities, and personal brand building.
"BMI is thrilled to underwrite this important initiative," said Mike Steinberg, senior vice president, licensing, BMI. "We're proud to support the advancement and education of female executives throughout the radio industry."
“We can only ensure that female leaders continue to emerge within radio by supporting the advancement of women in the ranks,” said Erica Farber, president and CEO, Radio Advertising Bureau. “This year’s Rising Through the Ranks program will not only give scholarship winners the opportunity to learn from industry executives, but to meet and interact with their peers and develop a valuable network of their own.”
Scholarship applications and registration are available at www.rab.com and will be accepted now through June 4, 2014. The training course is limited; applicants are encouraged to submit early. Scholarship recipients will be notified of their selection by Thursday, June 26.
