Local Radio Market Brings National Industry Leaders to Rochester in Partnership with the Rochester Advertising Federation, the New York State Broadcasters Association and the Radio Advertising Bureau

New York, NY, June 9, 2014 -- Rochester area radio stations are joining forces to host local advertising agency, marketing and client executives at the Strathallan Hotel from 3:00 to 5:00 PM on Thursday, June 19th  for a thought leadership, content infused networking conference.  “It’s On in Rochester” is a free advertising and media event open to local business owners and advertising agencies interested in learning more about radio advertising and how it impacts purchase intent, brand awareness and most importantly sales and customer relationships.

Attendees will hear from national radio, and advertising leaders, along with experts speaking about cultural trends, social media and millenials. Marian Salzman, CEO, Havas PR North America will keynote the conference. Bill Rose, SVP Audio Client Services, Nielsen Audio will also present the latest National ROI  (Return on Investment) Study, with specific relevance to local advertising business.

Jeremy Schwartz, President of the Rochester Advertising Federation will also moderate a panel with radio’s top talent including: The Bee Moring Coffee Club with Terry, Steve & Newman, Tony Infantino, Bob Lonsberry, John DiTullio, Bill Moran and Brother Wease.

“This is a not-to-miss event if you’re in the advertising & marketing field here in the Rochester Market,” noted Jeremy Schwartz, president of the Rochester Advertising Federation, and partner at Truth Collective. “This will be a day chock full of cutting edge research and new multi-platform ideas tailored for our market.”

Post conference, the Radio Advertising Bureau, and the New York State Broadcasters Association will host a networking cocktail hour for all attendees overlooking East Ave. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and greet with coworkers, clients and mingle with Rochester radio’s top on-air talent.
