Local Radio Broadcasters Bring National Industry Experts to the Capital District

Radio. It's On is presented in Partnership with the Radio Advertising Bureau and Capital District Radio Association in participation with the Albany Ad Club

New York, NY, November 6, 2014 -- Albany area radio stations will join forces to host local advertising agency, marketing and client executives at the Holiday Inn Suites and Conference Center on Thursday, November 13 in Latham, NY for a thought leadership, content infused networking conference.  “It’s On in The Capital District”  is open to local business owners and advertising agencies interested in learning more about radio advertising and how it impacts purchase intent, brand awareness and most importantly sales and customer relationships.

Attendees will hear from national radio, and advertising leaders, along with local Capital District on-air personalities.  Grey Persons, Director, Borrell and Associates, will bring color to today's media landscape with a focus on digital advertising and will shed light into local market spending patterns. Bill Rose, SVP, Nielsen Audio, will present the results from a recent study conducted by Nielsen Catalina Solutions which combined data from radio-audience measurement with shopper data from Catalina. Kim Vasey, Managing Partner/Director of Radio, GroupM, who is responsible for placing billions of dollars in radio each year will discuss the power of radio and the unique value it provides for advertisers and agencies when used right and in the right combination with other media.

Warren Garling, voice coach and past president of the Albany Ad Club will also moderate a panel with radio’s top talent including: Brian Cody (WFLY), Danie B. (WAJZ), Kelly Lynch (WGY), Walt Adams (101.3 The Jockey), Rodger Wyland (Fox Sports), Dr. John Cooper (PYX), Sean & Richie (WGNA).
