RAB’s Annette Malave Accredited with Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
in the Workplace Certification

NEW YORK – June 17, 2021 – RAB’s Annette Malave, senior vice president, insights, successfully completed the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace certificate offered by the University of South Florida Muma College of Business.

With support from Jabil and the Tampa Bay Lighting, this 14-hour certification course focused on how companies and organizations can create more diverse workplaces while addressing equity issues and fostering inclusivity. The course provides participants best practices to develop tools to help build inclusive change within their workplaces and perform organizational self-assessments.

“Multicultural efforts have always been a passion of mine throughout my career in the ad industry. The events of 2020 made me realize that I needed more than just passion, but an education on the role that diversity, equity and inclusivity play in our lives and in the workplace,” noted Malave. “I hope to take what I learned from this course and apply it to what I do in life and what we offer at RAB.”

The Radio Advertising Bureau team will continue to take part of these opportunities to help not only instill change within the organization, but to the resources that are offered through RAB across the radio industry.
