Radio Advertising Bureau and Capital District Radio Association Showcase Radio’s Local Impact with Radio. It’s On! In the Capital District of New York

NEW YORK – October 29, 2021 – New York State’s Capital District area radio stations gathered to host local businesses including advertising agencies, business owners and media executives on October 26 for Radio. It’s On! In the Capital District. This event exclusively focused on the power of radio across all its platforms to meet any business’ objectives to drive growth. The event was produced by RAB, in partnership with the Capital District Radio Association.

Featured speakers shared actionable insights and examples for the Capital District advertising community including: Tammy Greenberg, senior vice president, business development, Radio Advertising Bureau, shared a state of the industry presentation; Laura Ivey, director of research, Edison Research, provided insights into today’s audio consumers and Paul Jacobs, vice president and general manager, Jacobs Media Strategies, presented examples of how radio is innovating on behalf of its listeners and advertisers.

To conclude the event, The Capital District’s top on-air talent sat down with New York State Broadcasters Association President David Donovan to discuss their unique connections with local listeners, how they influence consumer behaviors and their partnerships with brands. The talent panel included Steve Cantara, PYX 106; Brian Cody, 107.7 WGNA; Darrin Kibbey, WVCR; Chad O’Hara, B 95.5; Ally Reid, WFLY; Jaime Roberts, 98.3 TRY, Paul Vandenburgh, TALK 1300 and 98.7 and Rodger Wyland, WTMM.
