2015 Radio Mercury Award Finalists Announced

iHeartMedia Creative Services and DDB Chicago Take Top Spots as Finalist Leaders

SUBWAY Named 2015 Radio Marketer of the Year
May 8, 2015 -- New York, NY – 113 radio spots and campaigns have made it to the finals of the 2015 Radio Mercury Awards, which honors outstanding radio created by advertising agencies, production companies, radio stations and students. iHeartMedia Creative Services lead this year’s entries throughout multiple categories, with DDB Chicago close behind. The Radio Marketer of the Year will be awarded to SUBWAY at the June 3 awards event.

This year’s set of finalists have met and exceeded that creative level of excellence we always hope to honor. The caliber of creative executions and the ways in which radio was leveraged throughout these entries is extraordinary.”

About the Radio Mercury Awards
The Radio Mercury Awards, the only competition exclusively devoted to radio, was established in 1992 to encourage and reward the development of effective and creative radio commercials. The annual Radio Mercury Awards competition draws entries from advertising agencies, production houses, radio stations, and educational institutions across the country. Approximately 17,500 commercials have competed for over $3.1 million in prizes. The Radio Creative Fund (RCF), and non-profit corporation funded by the radio industry, governs the Radio Mercury Awards. The Radio Advertising Bureau produces the Radio Mercury Awards.
