JetBlue Sponsors Concert by Rihanna

To promote its new nonstop service to Barbados, JetBlue Airways and the Barbados Tourism Authority will proudly present a private concert by Rihanna on Dec. 3 at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.

The concert is not available for public purchase, but fans had the chance to win tickets through Radio and online promotions and the "New York to Barbados" creative photo contest from Nov. 24-29. Entrants were required to take a photo in front of a New York landmark that incorporates both Barbados and JetBlue. The top 20 photographs submitted won a pair of tickets to the private event. The contest was promoted through social media outlets including Twitter and Facebook.

JetBlue customers in December will be shown 20 minutes of custom Rihanna footage including her new video, "Russian Roulette," on PlusTV, JetBlue's in-flight network. In addition, a special installment of MySpace Music's "The Release" featuring Rihanna at the Hammerstein Ballroom will be streamed live, and footage from the concert will also be featured on JetBlue Airways' PlusTV channel in 2010.
