||What Stations Are Doing: CBS/Philly Heads Red Cross Fundraiser
CBS Radio/Philadelphia -- which includes SportsRadio 94WIP and 610WIP, Talk Radio 1210 WPHT, KYW Newsradio 1060 and Oldies 98.1 WOGL -- has partnered with Live Nation to raise money for the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.
CBS Radio and Live Nation, along with Comcast-Spectacor, acquired a limited number of tickets to the Bob Dylan/Mark Knopfler concert this evening at Philadelphia's Wells Fargo Center. These tickets were set aside to help raise money for the victims of Hurricane Sandy and the relief efforts surrounding this disaster.
CBS Radio offered those who made a donation of $20 or more to the American Red Cross a pair of tickets to the concert. All money will benefit the American Red Cross and their efforts supporting those in need.
"Our CBS Radio stations will stay committed to helping those who lost homes, belongings and memories to Hurricane Sandy," said SVP/Market Manager Marc Rayfield. "We're thrilled to be partnering with Live Nation and Comcast-Spectacor and using as many assets as possible to help the recovery of our region."
