Why Retailers Pay For Your Free Samples
Keywords: Product Sampling
Handle that cocktail frank on a toothpick with care the next time you're taking a taste at the end of a grocery aisle: Someone may have a lot invested in that free sample.
Those little card tables full of plastic tasting cups or stands serving skewered samples of various products are fixtures of supermarket marketing as old as sign-coated end caps and shrill "attention shoppers" PA announcements, but are still as effective as they were the first time someone sprayed cheese on saltines and put them on display. |

Are You Getting Your Share of Digital Business?
There is a reason Radio is not getting the Digital revenue it deserves: Too many clients don't think Radio sellers understand Digital. And that means the money that could be going to Radio, to your stations, to your commission checks, is likely going somewhere else.
It doesn't have to.
RAB's Certified Digital Marketing Consultant (CDMC) training will give you and your team the confidence and ability to present and close your station's Digital business. Period.
The next online class begins Thursday, March 10. For more information, contact Rob Boaden today at (843) 757-5066 or rboaden@rab.com. |

Keywords: Radio | Charities
Clear Channel adult alternative KBCO, Denver (97.3), has been making money for charities over the past two decades with the sale of its "Studio C" albums each holiday season. Daily Sales Tip:
The options for Alternative Revenue are manifold when you consider the number of non-profit (and profit) organizations in your market area that put on events. Call them and negotiate for sponsorship benefits that you can pass on to your clients.
Remember, almost every event has promotional material (posters, banners, flyers, etc.), product sales opportunities and sampling opportunities...all benefits that are important in attracting Alternative Revenue clients.
