Older Facebook Users Catching On to 'Liking' Brands
Keywords: Social Media

It took older web users a few years to begin social networking after it had been popularized by the younger set, but they soon became the fastest-growing segment of users on sites like Facebook. Now it appears they are also growing into a specific social media habit that had been more popular among younger adults: connecting with brands.

That's not too shabby, but that's still only about 10% of the 231 million Americans aged 13 and over that use a mobile phone.

Daily Sales Tip: Make It Easy For Clients With QR Codes

Add a QR code of your vCard to your website, e-mails and business cards. When clients scan the code with their smartphone, they'll easily be able to add you to their Outlook Contacts.

There are many sites that generate QR codes for free. I used Mobilefish.com to create mine.
