Auto Insurance Satisfaction Reaches All-Time High
Consumer satisfaction with auto insurance companies is reaching record-high levels, despite steady increases in prices during the past five years, according to a report by J.D. Power and Associates.
The study measured customer satisfaction across five factors: interaction; price; policy offerings; billing and payment; and claims.

As a reason for changing providers, the survey showed that increases in premiums do not drive shopping as much as poor experience. Customers who experience a premium increase shop at a rate of 13% -- less than half the rate of shopping among those who have a poor experience (28%).
