Census Report Provides Latest Age, Diversity Information
New research from the U.S. Census Bureau shows that Americans grew a little older last year, while at the same time the nation's population became more diverse.

The median age for the United States as a whole inched up from 37.5 years to 37.6 years in 2013, as the country's 65-and-older population increased 3.6% from 2012, compared to a 0.3% rate of growth for the under-65 age bracket.

Survey Identifies Brand Preferences, Reasons for Buying Among Ethnic Auto Customers
Honda, Toyota and BMW all scored well as future vehicles of choice among ethnic buyers, according to a comprehensive new study by Strategic Vision.

As part of its annual New Vehicle Experience Study, the research-based consultancy polled more than 500,000 buyers -- African Americans, Latino Americans and Asian Americans -- who self-reported their ethnicity. The survey focused on the similarities and differences of the ethnic groups to learn what brands are favored by these customers, and what it is about the vehicles that would prompt a purchase.
