Uptick in bedding advertising on way?
Bedding advertising will be on the upswing in the near term, a development that should boost demand for mattresses, says Stifel analyst John Baugh. In the “Quarterly Insights” commentary, Baugh gives the industry some good news for 2017. He observed that advertising “was somewhat constrained for numerous reasons” last year, and said that was likely a major contributor to the weaker unit growth the industry experienced last year. But this year will be a different story, he believes, with a number of signs pointing to a generally positive market this year.Source: Furniture Today
