Your clients love Facebook; learn this, and share the love
A couple weeks ago a few of us from the RAB had the opportunity to participate in training presented by the Local Media Association and Dream Local Digital. It was a series of webinars, one per day over the lunch hour for 5 days. The topic: Facebook.

It was great to learn that the three key components to a successful marketing campaign using Facebook are:
1. Know your target customer (not just age and gender; but lifestyle, behaviors, etc.)
2. Create content that resonates with that target
3. Reach them frequently
Sound familiar? Small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) seem to love Facebook. The number of SMBs buying Facebook ads has doubled in the last year. The RAB-Borrell Benchmarking report reveals that 77% of radio advertisers are buying Facebook.
The question is: Are you selling it to them? If more than three-fourths of your clients are buying Facebook, wouldn’t it be beneficial for you to be the one selling it to them?
The other thing we learned in this training is that most SMBs don’t know how to effectively buy Facebook and aren’t thinking strategically about it in the big picture of their marketing plans.
