Auto dealer: Gen Y articulates what every buyer wants



John Garff, president of a 52-store Salt Lake City-based dealership chain that took in $4.3 billion last year, lists what millennial car buyers want from a dealer: Convenience, transparency, technology, a positive experience and simplicity. John Garff credits millennials in their 20s and 30s for being "the first generation to articulate what we all want. Time is my most important personal asset, and I’d say that’s true for everyone in the room," he tells the AFSA audience. "To connect with customers, value and respect their time. It’s what they want."
