Where innovators gather! Watch for RAB’s coverage of CES
As a radio sales professional, you find yourself at the center of technology and consumer marketing – a place where the pace of innovation and change is nothing short of breathtaking. At this year’s CES there will be plenty of talk about driverless cars, connected homes, 5G wireless technology and the Internet of Things. All of this technology will impact radio stations on many levels.
For over 50 years, CES has been the launching pad for new innovation and technology that has changed the world. Held in Las Vegas every year, it is the world’s gathering place for all who thrive on the business of consumer technologies and where next-generation innovations are introduced to the marketplace – and your RAB will be there.
RAB’s Erica Farber, Dave Casper and Jeff Schmidt will be on-site at this year’s CES, sharing with you the innovations, new tech, and what it means for advertisers and radio. Our comprehensive coverage will be in the form of video reports each day, beginning with Tuesday’s issue of Radio Sales Today. Farber, RAB’s President and CEO, will focus her attention on the sessions specific to advertisers and marketers. She says, “Technology touches everyone. I’m looking forward to speaking with those in the marketing space and sharing how technology will shape the future of marketing, with special emphasis on how we can best approach and work with clients from an advertising sales perspective.”
“This is an amazing place where you experience the innovations of tomorrow today,” says Schmidt. “Sharing with our members ‘what’s next’ in technology is a tough job, but someone has to do it,” he adds with a smile. ?
According to Casper, “There is a mindset of possibilities and an energy that can’t be matched. It’s an honor to be the first to share with our members how cutting-edge technology will impact their stations, their ability to service clients, and their sales proficiency.”
#CES2018 runs throughout this week, and RAB will be live each day bringing you all the latest information. Watch for the daily reports in RST.
