As one sixth of the New York office staff of the RAB and working in the Marketing & Communications department, I also spend a good amount of time working on the RAB produced Radio Mercury Awards. I also spend my days as the resident- pseudo IT tech, social media guru, office supply maven and packer extraordinaire. If you call the main line to the NY office, chances are you'll hear my bubbly voice.
As graduate of the State University of New York at Cortland with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Communications, I drew from my radio experience at my college radio station WSUC-FM when starting at the RAB in 2004.
When I'm not helping plan the RAB's next big event or running around a conference floor with a walkie-talkie in my hand, I can be found exploring the big, beautiful island of Manhattan - seeing a show at any number of NYC's best music venues, playing pub quiz trivia with friends, or riding my bike down the Westside Highway.
People would be surprised to know that I was on a hip-hop dance team in my younger years. Want to know some of my favs? Favorite APP is Instagram; favorite book is Bossy Pants by Tina Fey, and my current favorite songs (it sometimes changes daily, and hourly and I can't pick just one) are "These are the Days" by Van Morrison, and "To Make You Feel My Love" by Bob Dylan. I do my best thinking while driving, which is probably sad considering I live in a city and I don't actually own a car. My all-time favorite vacation was a trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico - beautiful beaches, amazing Margaritas, and wonderful people, but my upcoming trip home to NW Wisconsin is showing some serious promise.
