FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

RAB to Host Live Presentation on Nielsen’s Diary Radio Measurement Transformation

NEW YORK — March 18, 2026 — RAB will host a live presentation highlighting Nielsen Audio’s new mobile-enabled diary methodology, mSurvey.

The Diary Service Transformation live presentation will take place Wednesday, April 1, at noon CT. The free one-hour session will provide an overview of mSurvey and the corresponding test results that have led to the Spring 2026 launch.

The introduction of mSurvey marks a significant step forward in radio measurement, reflecting how audiences engage with media in a mobile-first environment. The platform is designed to improve usability, increase participation and enhance audience representation, particularly among younger demographics.

The initiative is part of a broader, multiyear effort by Nielsen to modernize its Audio Diary service. Enhancements include digital-first recruitment, address-based sampling, updated incentive structures and improved respondent engagement strategies aimed at delivering more accurate and representative audience data.

Rich Tunkel, managing director at Nielsen Audio, and Robin Gentry, director of diaries and surveys at Nielsen Audio will lead the webinar outlining the development and rollout of mSurvey, its impact on diary methodology and what broadcasters, advertisers and agencies can expect as implementation begins in spring 2026.

The live virtual session and accompanying resources are free and open to the radio and advertising industry. To register for this presentation, click here.

The presentation is part of RAB’s One Voice for Radio initiative. We will continue to share updates including new resources and future presentations to support radio.
