DALLAS COWBOYS' CHIEF BRAND OFFICER CHARLOTTE JONES ANDERSON TO SHARE BEST PRACTICES IN BRAND INNOVATION AT 2019 RADIO SHOW
|
WASHINGTON,
D.C. – Charlotte Jones Anderson, Dallas Cowboys executive vice president and
chief brand officer, will share strategies for building a world class brand
around the customer experience in a Radio Show feature session, Thursday,
September 26. The Radio Show, produced by the National Association of
Broadcasters (NAB) and the Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB), will be held
September 24-27 in Dallas, Texas.
Anderson oversees all business operations, strategies and applications surrounding
the Dallas Cowboys’ brand marketing, fan engagement, stadium design and
community relations. She was critical in the strategic design and overall
presentation of the renowned AT&T Stadium, which has hosted Super Bowl XLV,
the 2010 NBA All-Star Game and the Academy of Country Music Awards, among other
events.
The Radio Show feature session will detail her success in building a major
brand that goes beyond the ordinary scope to engage consumers of architecture,
engineering, art and fashion in addition to the game of football. Anderson will
discuss how she has met challenges in her industry with innovative and
versatile approaches throughout her 30 years in the NFL with the world’s most
valuable sports franchise.
“Being relevant in today’s multi-platform world is critically important to
radio and the advertisers we serve,” said Dan Bennett, Radio Show steering
committee member and regional VP, Cumulus Radio Group, Dallas/Houston. “Having
been in Dallas for the past 35 years, I have seen first-hand what a dynamic
talent and innovator Ms. Anderson is. Hearing her perspective on building great
brands should be a must for every attendee.”
Anderson was named Chairman of the NFL Foundation in 2012 where she is
responsible for spearheading the NFL efforts in youth football participation,
health and safety, and community outreach. She is the first woman to serve in
this position and is the first female executive in history to lead a major
professional sports league charitable foundation. She also serves on the NFL
Conduct Committee, NFL Health and Safety Committee, NFL Legalized Sports
Betting Committee and is president of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.
