NEW YORK – January 6, 2025 – Call for Entry for the 2025 Radio Mercury Awards, the only awards competition exclusively dedicated to celebrating radio creative, is officially open. Entrants will have the chance to be awarded in 19 categories along with the Best of Show award.
The 34th annual competition is expanding and introducing several new opportunities for radio and audio creatives to enter and win. The 2025 award categories are reflective of today’s radio and audio landscape and were guided by the competition’s chief judge,
Chad Broude, co-founder/co-chief creative officer of Highdive Advertising, the Radio Mercury Awards advisory council, and RAB’s Board of Directors.
The new categories being introduced include “Single Streaming Spot,” “Streaming Campaign,” “Use of Directing in a Single Broadcast Radio Spot,” “Innovative Use of Broadcast Radio or Digital Audio,” as well as “Single Spot Airing on a Podcast.” These categories join favorites like “Use of Humor in a Single Broadcast Radio Spot” and “Broadcast Radio Campaign.”
Call for Entry deadline is Tuesday, April 1. Finalists for the show will be announced in early May and winners will be announced at the live Radio Mercury Awards event on Thursday, June 5, at SONY Hall in New York City.

The Radio Mercury Awards, the only competition exclusively devoted to radio and audio, was established in 1992 to encourage and reward the development of effective and creative radio commercials. The annual Radio Mercury Awards competition draws entries from advertising agencies, production houses, radio stations and educational institutions across the country.
