BBDO Atlanta, as the 2020 Chief Judge

New York, New York -- October 29, 2019 -- The Radio Mercury Awards is proud to announce Robin Fitzgerald, Chief Creative Officer at BBDO Atlanta, as the 2020 Chief Judge for the 29th annual Radio Mercury Awards.

In her role as BBDO's Chief Creative Officer, Robin provides creative leadership to a number of clients including Norwegian Cruise Line, Sanderson Farms and Honey Baked Ham among others. In the three years since her appointment, BBDO Atlanta's creative reputation has grown along with its trophy case – including five Cannes Lions in 2019 for its work on behalf of Street Grace.

Prior to BBDO Atlanta, Robin spent 15 years in Los Angeles, working at Crispin Porter + Bogusky and TBWAChiatDay, for clients such as Gatorade, Visa, Energizer and Nissan (TBWA) and Netflix, Old Navy, Grey Poupon, and PayPal (Crispin).  She has been named one of Business Insider's “Most Creative People in Social Media Marketing" and “Most Creative Women in Advertising." Her work has been recognized in many industry award shows and she has participated on juries for the Radio Mercury Awards, D&AD, One Show, Clios, Art Director's Club and New York Festivals.

"I've always loved radio. To me, it's one of the most challenging platforms for creatives," noted Robin Fitzgerald. “The Radio Mercury Awards are a champion of great ideas delivered in stereo. It's a pretty cool gig to be leading the charge on curating the best of the best for 2020."

“Robin truly has a passion and a love for the audio medium, and we are fortunate to have her serve as the 2020 Radio Mercury Awards Chief Judge," noted Erica Farber, president and CEO, Radio Advertising Bureau and chair of the Radio Creative Fund.  “She has an impressive track record in the creative community and will bring her deep appreciation for the radio craft and how it can deliver for brands and listeners alike."

Award categories for the 2020 Radio Mercury Awards will be announced in late December, along with Call for Entry guidelines and deadlines.  For more information, go to http://www.radiomercuryawards.com.
