NEW YORK – June 8, 2023 – Winners at the 2023 Radio Mercury Awards were announced this evening at the 32nd annual awards presentation held at SONY Hall in New York as well as online. This year’s Best of Show award was presented to FCB Chicago for their "Glad Strength: App" radio commercial for The Clorox Company and Glad Products.
"I'm honored that I got to lead this year's judges and award this class of winners; this has been an experience I'll treasure," noted Sherman Winfield, executive creative director, VMLY&R Atlanta and chief judge, Radio Mercury Awards. "The final round jury was really impressed by this year's winning work, and they all #SetTheFrequency."
"Tonight was another great night for radio, celebrating the creativity that agencies and radio stations are producing on behalf of their clients," said Erica Farber, president and chief executive officer, RAB and chair, Radio Creative Fund. "The Radio Mercury Awards continues to advance the medium forward by showcasing and awarding work that is innovative and effective."
On behalf of the radio industry, this year's Radio Marketer of the Year Award was presented to Procter & Gamble. On-air talent Déjà Vu bestowed the award to Marc Pritchard, chief brand officer, and Charlotte La Niear, North America senior director for multicultural media, P&G. Farber noted, "P&G has been a great partner to the radio community, and we are delighted to honor the company for its efforts as they continue to make radio a key component in its advertising campaigns by activating programs that leverage radio’s core equities to garner results."
The lively ceremony, which was also livestreamed, included the following on-air personalities as the event's presenters: Mike Adam from NEW 102.7 in New York City, Brooke & Jeffrey from MOViN 92.5 in Seattle, Cubby and Christine from 106.7 Lite FM in New York City, Steven Portnoy from CBS News Radio in Washington D.C. and Déjà Vu from WBLS in New York City. In attendance were numerous leaders from the creative and advertising community including Arnold Worldwide, Barkley, BBDO, Dentsu, FCB Chicago, Goodby Silverstein & Partners, McCann, The Martin Agency and more, along with clients like Morgan Stanley.

About Radio Mercury Awards
The Radio Mercury Awards, the only competition exclusively devoted to radio and audio, was established in 1992 to encourage and reward the development of effective and creative radio commercials. The annual Radio Mercury Awards competition draws entries from advertising agencies, production houses, radio stations and educational institutions across the country. Approximately 21,000 commercials have competed in the Radio Mercury Awards and close to $3.5 million in prizes have been awarded over the past 31 years. The Radio Creative Fund (RCF), a nonprofit corporation funded by the radio industry, governs the Radio Mercury Awards. The Radio Advertising Bureau produces the Radio Mercury Awards.
