Americans driving less than pre-COVID-19



Nearly half of Americans say they are driving less than they did before the COVID-19 pandemic hit in early 2020, citing gas prices as the main reason why, according to the latest NACS Consumer Fuels Survey. Three in five drivers say gas prices are the main reason why they drive less than pre-pandemic, up sharply from the 44% who said so in the same survey conducted in February.
