Asian Americans: A survey data snapshot

As of 2022, 24 million Asian Americans live in the U.S., making up 7% of the population. Asian Americans largely originate from China, India, Japan, the Philippines, South Korea and Vietnam, with 54% being immigrants and 46% U.S.-born.
