Stellar Line-up Of Speakers Finalized For “New Rules for Radio”

Advertisers, Agencies, And Talent Come Together In NYC On March 15th

New York, New York – March 9, 2006 – An impressive line-up of major advertisers, leading advertising agency executives, and top Radio talent has been finalized for New Rules For Radio: What’s The Frequency.  The one-day advertising summit takes place 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 pm. at the Grand Hyatt in New York City next Wednesday, and is presented by Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB), the Advertising Club of New York, and Adweek Magazines.  

 

The Forum’s agenda will shatter conventional perceptions of Radio by demonstrating Radio’s real role in today’s consumer-centric world.  Media experts will share their proven strategies for building brands and increasing sales with Radio advertising. 

 

Nationally syndicated WBLS Radio host and “Queen of All Media” Wendy Williams will provide the morning’s entertainment followed by an opening keynote from Mark Kaline, Global Media Manager for the Ford Motor Company.    

 

The luncheon features Elvis Duran, host of Elvis Duran and the Z Morning Zoo, and a keynote from William Lamar, Jr., Chief Marketing Officer for McDonald’s USA

 

Four mid-morning breakout sessions will take place two at a time.  The first two session topics are Radio In A Digital World and The ROI Advantage Study from the Radio Ad Effectiveness Lab (RAEL).  The late-morning sessions are Meet Multicultural Radio, and Not Just Spots, a look at creative Radio plans.
