RAB Announces Training Hire Jeff Schmidt Joins as SVP of Professional Development

New York, NY - June 29, 2015 -The Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB) has announced respected radio sales and training executive Jeff Schmidt will join the organization as Senior Vice President of Professional Development effective July 6, 2015.


In his new position, Schmidt, who reports to Erica Farber, RAB President and CEO, will oversee the professional development group across all of RAB's training services and work with the industry's leadership to continue to provide a professional development practice positioned to serve an evolving industry sales force focused on digital, solution based marketing and sales efforts. Additionally, Schmidt will lead the RAB's efforts on training the next generation of radio sales professionals with a focus on recruiting millennials into radio.

Schmidt transitions from EVP/Partner at Sparque, a leading sales training and sales management development company. Previously, Jeff rose through the ranks and has served in various sales roles and organizations over his 26 years in radio sales and on the ground selling at companies including Cumulus Broadcasting, Mid-West Family Broadcasting, and Hearst Corporation.
