Sales Advisory Committee

The RAB Sales Advisory Committee is made up of key executives from RAB Member stations from all-size markets. The mission of the RAB Sales Advisory Committee is to provide RAB staff direction on training for radio sales and marketing professionals across all brands and platforms. The committee meets four times a year and includes in its agenda a regular review of tools available through RAB to maintain that they are in line with current and future radio media landscapes. In 2018, the committee identified two industry-wide gaps where the RAB could and should focus – around the lack of automotive resources available to all broadcasters, and misperceptions of the radio medium. RAB will be rolling out two new initiatives in 2019 directly addressing these two needs with the launch of the Radio Works campaign, as well as unveiling a robust automotive section featuring specific tools and resources to help with radio's largest advertising category.
