When 2022 began, we were full of hope and encouragement for the ‘new normal’ to continue to take shape. We certainly couldn’t have predicted more volatile years than the previous two!
Despite the continued turbulence throughout this past three-year arc, there are a number of indisputable truths about radio throughout 2022:
- Radio continued to inform, entertain and nourish the heart, mind and soul of listeners.
- Radio supported its local communities and helped businesses in small and large ways.
- Radio united audiences in all size markets from coast to coast, and it brought much needed joy and provided companionship.
- Radio drove positive results for local, regional and national businesses that helped to keep their doors open, especially as they continued to navigate tremendous challenges.
