RAB Live Presentations

Over 10,300 RAB members registered to attend RAB's 27 live presentations including 11 'Radio Works' advertising webinars/live presentations featuring category overviews and broadcaster and advertiser success stories and case studies enabling sellers to further understand how they can prospect and call on some of radio's most important advertising categories. Additionally, throughout each month, RAB updated and promoted key RAB tools such as Instant Backgrounds and The Pitch to complement each month's featured advertising vertical.

RAB Insights has partnered with various marketing and research organizations to provide new insights and research resources to RAB's members. A few of the unique partnerships that have provided RAB with new primary research for RAB.com and live presentations include:

  • AnalyticOwl - Access to attributional data across a myriad of categories highlighting radio's ability to drive online site traffic. Live presentation participation on healthcare alongwith a companion blog post as well as data analysis of dental, real estate and lawn and garden.


  • Amplifi Media - In 2022, we launched an inaugural survey and report, Local Podcast Opportunities, which looked into the opportunity and growth of local content delivery via podcasts.


  • Borrell Associates - Completion of the 10th annual digital benchmarking survey, which provides RAB members and participants information on digital sales. Findings from the 2021-2022 survey highlighted radio sellers as one of the top most trusted marketing professionals when compared to all other media.


  • CivicScience - Data and insights into consumer and radio listener preferences. Live presentations focused on automotive and retail as well as blog companion pieces and insights.


  • Foster Garvey - A long-standing relationship, participation by principals of law firm FosterGarvey, shared considerations and information on copyright protection during a live presentation as well as updates to the Political Advertising Handbook, and Political Advertising and Cannabis FAQs.


  • Provoke Insights - A new partnership that offers RAB members consumer as well as radio listener ad category insights. Fourteen research data reports delivered in 2022 with a total 812 views.


  • Say It Now - RAB partnered with Say it Now to produce a whitepaper focused on the evolution of radio. This report shows how radio is evolving and continues to embrace technological advances to stay current and engage with the modern consumer. It also shares a glimpse into radio's future from the perspective of audio professionals.

RAB 2022 Radio Sizzle


A new radio sizzle video was made available to RAB members in October 2022. The video highlights radio's powerful attributes that include engagement, community connections and the companionship it offers its listeners. This video allows advertisers and broadcasters alike to share just how radio works!

Other Research Partnerships
  • Claritas - Political advertising is a mainstay. Claritas joined RAB in 2022 in a live presentation and shared voter preferences and how radio can deliver and optimize a candidate's message.
  • J.D. Power - A well-recognized organization, J.D. Power shared the current state of mind of automotive insurers and what drives customer satisfaction based on 2022 survey data.
  • ListenFirst - Knowing what works on social media is important for radio marketing professionals. ListenFirst presented top advertiser 2022 social media trends based on data from 2020 and 2021 across some of radio's top categories.
  • WHY Group - New relationship with Horizon Media's WHY Group which conducts research and analyses on the intersection of culture, people, and brands. To date, the WHY team has presented its Inflation Nation report to RAB's membership via live online presentation and a holiday update via the Radio Matters blog with an accompanying video Q & A session which was viewed 164 times. Radio Matters is RAB's weekly blog delivered to the radio and advertising community highlighting radio's many attributes. The blog is celebrating its sixth year with a total of 500 posts. In 2022, the blogs were opened 37,000 times. The topics focused on data, category and demographic insights, radio's advertising efficacy and how radio delivers ROI for advertisers.
