Lowered bar pass cut scores mean better bar pass rates in 4 states

The National Conference of Bar Examiners reports that four of the five states that reduced minimum bar scores in 2023 increased their February 2024 bar passage rates. Idaho saw the largest increase, reaching 54%, up from 36% in February 2023. The Idaho Supreme Court ordered the drop from 272 to 273.
