Netflix's ad-supported tier is growing really fast - and that means more ads



Netflix's ad-supported subscription tier has expanded rapidly, reaching over 94 million monthly users globally, up from 70 million in November 2024. This growth underscores the platform's increasing focus on advertising revenue, with plans to introduce new ad formats, including interactive mid-content ads and pause ads, by the end of 2026. The company also announced the rollout of its in-house advertising platform across all 12 countries with ad-supported plans by June 2025.
