Golden Art of Podcasting



2014 was declared "The Golden Age of Podcasting" and this year the art of podcasting is coming through loud and clear with new series of original audio programs that allow marketers to integrate with customized, compelling and creative storytelling. According to Gayle Troberman, CMO of iHeartRadio, "We are seeing increased engagement in audio programming both on-air and via podcast, and original audio forces us to get back to the basics of telling stories simply and honestly." iHeartRadio recently announced 7 new podcast series at their first annual Soundfront. Play.It brings together a wide range of programming from major brands and publishers, as well as content from CBS RADIO shows on-demand. Must-hear podcasts now available on Play.it include – CBS RADIO's Boomer & Carton, Kevin & Bean, in addition to Human Podcast Machine with Taz, Straight Up with Stassi, WOOOOO! Nation with Ric Flair, 60 Minutes, and more. Brands now have the ability to integrate within and buy campaigns on the platform, and deliver targeted messaging to specific fans of a particular show or across the entire network of podcasts.
