How far can you go?

Rising Through The Ranks was oer a week ago. RAB inspired and engaged 20+ professional women to be their best and to know they deserve all the success they can achieve. I had the privilege of being in the room, and what I witnessed was the most authentic, vulnerable, transformative, inspiring and emotionally packed "business" meeting I've ever attended. When people who love what they do come together to try and figure out how to do it even better — magic happens.

Legendary sales and motivational speaker Zig Ziglar identified the three C's of life:

Choices

Chances

Changes

Ziglar says: "You must make the choice to take a chance if you want anything to change."

Three years ago, video calls were a novelty, now we have "fatigue" from them. Three years ago, working from home was for a select few who could tolerate and manage the separation of family, pets, children and other attention-grabbers in the house. Today, working from home is common, and many reports show that we've never been more productive. AI/machine learning was the stuff of sci-fi movies not long ago. Now, we have new tools like openAI and ChatGPT that impact how we work.

One thing has become clear: New knowledge, new information and new learning are no longer just options for those looking to get ahead faster. It's now a requirement for everyone to adapt to the changes. While it may sound harsh, your continued employment in this great industry depends on it.

The question for you today is not: "Should I?" but, "How far can I go?" With the proper tools and resources, nothing is stopping you from having your best year ever.
