Car dealerships enjoy profit spike amid incentive pullback

Dealers are benefiting from a decrease in manufacturers' incentives, boosting average new-vehicle transaction prices by 2.2% to $48,510. This is the first increase this year, but prices are still down year-over-year. The increase is likely due to a pullback in incentives.
