Undergraduate enrollment rises again in spring 2024

Undergraduate enrollment increased by 2.5% in spring 2024, the second consecutive semester of growth, adding about 359,000 students, mostly in community colleges. Despite gains, numbers remain below pre-COVID levels, with lingering pandemic effects impacting higher education.
