Construction backlog grows despite economic challenges

In June 2024, construction backlog rose to 8.4 months, reversing May's decline. Despite high interest rates and inflation, the backlog is slightly below last year's level. Contractor confidence in sales and staffing dipped but remains higher than a year ago.
