What's behind the slowdown in resale home sales?

Since April 2024, the resale housing market has slowed, especially in Texas and Florida. The Resale Housing Market Index™ held at 44 in July, reflecting a significant drop from July 2023. Despite slight improvements in sales sentiment, agents expect a further decline through October.
