10 creative tips to make your ads stand out
On Wednesday, RAB hosted a live presentation, 10 Creative Tips (You've Probably Never Heard Of) to Make Radio Ads That Work Harder. This presentation was the last Radio Mercury Awards creative webinar of the year. Tony Mennuto, owner/CCO, Audio Milkshake, joined us to share valuable tips and practical recommendations to drive ROI with your radio creative.
Tony Mennuto had this great takeaway: "Too often, radio spots are white noise. They skate over your ears. A lot of ads sound similar to one another. They're not distinctive. I call it passive listening. It's the same as driving down the road and looking at billboards flying by. When you drive down a road and see a million billboards, our brains can't process that information – it's just white noise."
