What US Latinos say about 'machismo'

A November 2023 Pew Research Center survey finds that 83% of U.S. Latino adults are familiar with the term "machismo," with 73% of those saying it is a negative aspect of Hispanic culture. Overall, 60% of all Latino adults view machismo in a negative light.
