The restaurant industry workforce shrunk in January

Data released recently from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics shows that the restaurant industry's workforce shrunk by 15,700 jobs in January, while the overall workforce added 143,000 jobs during the month. While job growth continues, it is moderating, and January's numbers fell short of economists' expectations.
