Nearly two-thirds of Medicaid beneficiaries already work: KFF

Most adults on Medicaid are already employed, suggesting only a small share of beneficiaries wouldn't meet work requirements being considered by Republicans in Congress, according to a brief by health policy firm KFF. 64% of beneficiaries under 65 who don’t receive disability benefits and aren’t covered by Medicare were working full or part-time in 2023.
