A look at homeschooling in the US

Some 3.4% of K-12 students in the U.S. were homeschooled during the 2022-23 academic year, according to recently released data from the National Center for Education Statistics. That was roughly on par with the 2.8% of students who were homeschooled during the 2018-19 academic year, before the coronavirus pandemic.
