Protein snack growth outpaces overall snacking category



Although consumers actively seek protein on snacking occasions (36%), protein snacks make up less than a quarter (19%) of retail sales, new research from Chomps finds. Despite the gap, protein-forward snacks are outpacing the overall snacking category three times in growth within the $126 billion snacking industry.
