4 marketing lessons from Dr. Seuss

There’s a fun post by Chris – The Brain – Hoyt. As a marketing strategist he shared tips with examples from Dr. Seuss’ Green Eggs and Ham to prove his points. We’ve adapted them for radio salespeople:

1. “I do not like green eggs and Ham.” Don’t ask prospects if they like radio. If they have never tried radio advertising, they wouldn’t know. Instead, ask: “Will you try it?”
2. “Could you, would you with a goat?” Keep pitching even after trying by train, car and goat. Persistence works.
3. “If you let me be, I will try them.” Have a custom recommendation specific to the prospect’s objectives.
4. “Share them with a goat, a fox, and a mouse.” Take good care of your customers and they will recommend you to others.
